Dennis Senff, owner of Mountain View Music and native to Oregon, has been a music teacher and played music professionally since receiving his BA in Music Education from the University of Oregon in 1977.  Along with owning Mountain View Music, he continues to follow his passion of playing music as the drummer for COCC's Big Band Jazz, 1st chair trumpet for the Cascade Winds Symphonic Band (22 years now!), tympanist for the Central Oregon Symphony (10 years), and frequently sits in to play both drums and trumpet for Betty Burger's Big Band.  Without a doubt, Dennis is well qualified to handle all your band and orchestral needs and questions.

Sales and service of band instruments is our only business. With the addition of Ed Carwithen, retired band director, and other musicians and music teachers who help us, we have over 80 years of combined knowledge and expertise to help with any student's instrumental education - no matter what their age!  We can provide private instruction in our store on any instrument, and are always visiting the schools in Central Oregon as well as John Day, Burns and Lakeview.
